If the last couple of years have taught us anything it's to be prepared – so we’re sending our holiday guidelines early so you have you plenty of time to plan for the busy season. We always stress that these are guidelines, not deadlines, but we do encourage you to get your orders in by the following dates, to ensure we can deliver them before the holidays. Things are more normal now than last year — no more lock downs, we hope! But supply challenges and/or courier delays are still quite likely, so please don't wait until the last minute. It's time to celebrate with Studio Samples! Last Friday we launched one of the biggest updates in years to our album pricing — and we loved the response to our "unbundling". So to celebrate here's the first of two special offers… Many of you used the lockdown period to rejig your business plans and market offering, which meant — surprise! — lots of requests for another sample sale. We had to hold off while we worked through the repricing, but with that behind us we can go ahead. All samples — including albums, books, boxes, To View More >>

We saw this album with photography by Simon Darby of Wanaka Photography as it went through the Bindery. It showcases not just beautiful photography of Kate and James' lovely wedding, but the stunning New Zealand landscape. Wanaka is a tourist and holidaymaker destination, and the subject of much iconic New Zealand photography. The album also shows some of the features that make our Duo unique. The album has a Buckram Carbon cover with Futura embossing. The matted pages are Pagemount style, with a keyline around the prints created by carefully hand trimming To View More >>

There are only a few weeks in Winter where the setting sun can beam its light all the way through New Zealand’s Milford Sound, and I was dedicated to getting the perfect photograph of it. But when I set that goal I had no idea it would take me four years to accomplish. After three years of trying, my fourth trip to the Sound left me with some of my strongest memories, and taught me a lot. It was my last, eighth day of waiting: getting wet in the bush, heavy rain clouds hanging above me, and no signs of any light passing through the sounds. Disappointed with my fourth unsuccessful trip, I To View More >>

“Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.” ― Marc Riboud To celebrate a social media milestone Kelly Wolfe held a competition. She asked her followers to send in their stories, with one of them winning an afternoon photo shoot. You can see why Kelly decided to use the photographs, of Chase, Deo and Brody, the perfect three, for her Queensberry sample album. The dogs' owner (also called Kelly!) says her first and oldest fur baby was Brody, a "Sibord" — half Siberian Husky, half Border Collie. "He was To View More >>

Written by: Clare Breheny When someone asks me what I do for a living and I tell them I’m a boudoir photographer, the usual response is, ‘Oh, women getting pictures for their husbands,’ or ‘Oh, like a bride giving it as a gift on a wedding day’. Every time I shake my head, and explain that’s it’s WAY more than that… but how do you say modestly that the time you spend with them might actually change how they live their lives? Whilst working with a bride embarking on her wedding day is very rewarding, some of my favourite clients have come to To View More >>

I believe that to succeed in this “industry" we need to fully engage our heads and our hearts, and Sonya's post demonstrates how truly engaged she is. It was about the albums she’s been keeping of her two daughters since they were born, and it reminded me of another album that Heather made years ago. So here am I, hand on heart too… Twenty-one years ago we hired a professional photographer. It was our daughter Adrienne’s birthday. Stephen was coming home from Australia with his fiancée Sonya to meet the family. Heather's Mum and Dad had long passed To View More >>

The charming wedding of Mana and Sepehr was held at the King Edward Hotel in Toronto, Canada. Their photographer, Krista (from Krista Fox Photography), said, The wedding was beautiful in its classic simplicity. Mana and Sepehr are a beautiful couple, and the perfect complement to one another. Take a look at their 15x12 Duo - (the photographs in the abandoned ballroom are my favourite!) A beautiful translucent page to start the album. The first look and couple photos were taken at the top of the King Edward Hotel in a 1920s ballroom that was abandoned in 1950s with the implementation of stricter To View More >>

What a beautiful day full of laughter, tears and a lot of love! Claire and Milos - both dancers for the West Australian Ballet got married at Moore & Moore, A unique art gallery in Fremantle, Western Australia. Jimmy, their photographer from IZO Photography is based in Perth, Australia. Claire wore a dress specially made by a close friend of hers, coupled with a beaded bolero and chilli red shoes – simply stunning. I love First Looks. You get to see your other half before everyone else, and you have the time to take it all in before heading off for the ceremony. It’s a great To View More >>

Our statistics tell us that almost 30% of people visiting your Workspace image galleries are using their mobile devices. And the number of people using iPads or iPhones for online browsing and shopping is expected to increase dramatically over the next few years. In response to this the Queensberry developers have recently completed an awesome upgrade to the Workspace shopping cart, fixing little bugs here and there, but most importantly - making it fully adaptable to mobile and tablet devices. What does that mean for you? Well if your clients are viewing your image galleries on To View More >>
